SELF-TEACH CYCLE SYSTEM START-UP
When all the connections have been completed you must run the self-teach procedure in order to put the system
into service. If you do not complete the self-teach procedure, the automation will not work.
The gate must be CLOSED and STOPPED before you start the self-teach procedure; you can close the gate using
the DEAD MAN function as described in par. 6.
Proceed as follows to start the self-teach procedure:
Push the YELLOW (exit) and BLUE (scroll) buttons down
together for a few seconds, until the display confi rms that
the procedure has started by fl ashing 3 bars in a column.
The cycle starts; it consists of 5 stages:
full opening of wing 1 (or single wing);
full opening of wing 2 (if it is a double winged gate);
pause time;
full closing of wing 2 (if it is a double winged gate);
full closing of wing 1 (or single wing);
As the cycle is progressing, all external signals are
ignored, apart from the photocell during closing. If a
photocell command is received during this stage, the self-
teach procedure will be interrupted and will have to be
repeated.
At the end of the procedure the gate is closed and stopped and the display switches off.
Next, open or close the gate using the key button or remote command (if already stored to memory) to check that it
works properly. After the self-teach procedure, the system will function automatically following the default settings (see
par. 7.3).
