Pneumatic connection:
The standard left-hand air connection can be moved to the right-hand side. To
do this, the right-hand plug screw must be replaced with the left-hand
threaded air fitting. As an option, angled screw fittings from the Festo cata-
logue range are also available.
Electrical connection:
The electrical plug connector can be turned in 90° steps. To do this, the four re-
taining screws must be removed when the plug connector is opened and the
plug connector turned carefully.
Warning
When work is performed on the plug connector, you must make sure that the
cables do not become damaged or squashed. Along with major electrical
damage, this can also lead to persons being injured as a result of the high
voltages.
This work may only be carried out by expert electrical technicians with the
power supply disconnected.
For the safe connection of power supply cables, EAHT cable chain holders are
available as an option in two sizes for various horizontal and vertical attach-
ment variants. The cable chains safeguard a guaranteed bending radius for the
power supply cables along with defined cable routing. Only in this way can the
rated service life of the power supply cables be guaranteed in continuous op-
eration.
The cable chain holders are screwed to the slides as shown in Fig. 10 using the
included mounting material.
