bringing this device into service. If the device was damaged in transit, do
not install or use it and contact your dealer.
Velleman nv will not be held responsible for damaged to a connected
battery-packs. Before connecting a battery pack you should make sure
that the voltage, polarity and current are correct. Do not change either
voltage or polarity during operation. Contact your local dealer when in
doubt.
2. Safety Instructions
Keep the adapter away from children and unauthorized
users.
Dry location use only. Keep this adaptor away from rain and
moisture. Never put objects filled with liquid on top of or close to
the adaptor.
DO NOT disassemble or open the cover under any circumstances.
Touching live wires can cause life-threatening electroshocks.
The housing might heat up during usage. Keep minimum distances
around the apparatus for sufficient ventilation. Place the adaptor
on a flat heat resistant surface.
Always disconnect mains power when the adaptor is not in use or
when servicing or maintenance activities are performed. Do not
pull the cable!
Only insert rechargeable NiCd or Ni-MH batteries. Any attempt to
recharge other battery types or non-rechargeable batteries may
result in exploding batteries, injury and a damaged device.
Do not use the adaptor when damage to housing or cables is
noticed. Do not attempt to service the device yourself but contact
an authorised dealer.
