minutes, the value becomes stable.
Warning: Upon starting up the device, check to make sure the pH in the water is between 6 and 8.
Note : At the time of the first installation or when changing the pH- correcting agent tank, it may be necessary to
start up the pump in such a way that the neoprene tube is filled with correcting agent. To do this, place your cursor
on 1-Activate auto-test in the menu Auto-test. Press the knob for 5 seconds. The pump is activated for 2 minutes.
Repeat this process if necessary.
1 – Deactivate pH
This option is only available in the models with pH regulation or dynamic models.
Models with pH regulation: this feature is activated by default (value shown on the main screen). It may be
deactivated for all handling of the sensor or for operation without pH regulation.
2 – Setting pH
Adjustment of the pH setting (6.8~7.5). Factory setting of 7.3.
It is advised to have a pH setpoint of less than 7.3 for maximum chlorine disinfection effectiveness.
3-Sensor calibration
The sensors are calibrated upon leaving the factory. However, it is recommended to perform calibration upon
installation of the sensor.
The calibration must be verified at least once per year.
Calibration process:
Warning: Before calibrating the sensor, verify that no chlorination is occurring. If electrolysis is taking place, adjust
chlorine production to 0%.
1) Unscrew the cell as far as possible (it is not necessary to stop the filtering pump),
2) take the sensor out of its space, rinse it and wet it in the pH solution by shaking. When the value displayed
on the main screen is stable (1 to 2 minutes), go into "Sensor Calibration" in the "pH Menu."
3) Adjust the value of the calibration solution and validate.
4) Put the sensor back into its place on the cell, and close the cell again inside the vessel.
5) Flush the cell (Fig. 8.3).
6) Put the chlorinator back into normal production conditions (% prod.).
7) Return to main screen
Note : You may also perform calibration in a simpler manner if you have an accurate pH measurement instrument,
such as a photometer. In this case, perform calibration at the value measured by the photometer and validate,
without having to remove the sensor from its slot.

1-Deactivate ORP
2 -Setting ORP

The pH value displayed on the main screen is the level measured in your swimming
pool.
Warning: The values may vary (+/-) momentarily after handling the sensor
(calibration, maintenance, replacement, etc.) or after stopping the pump. This is
normal and does not mean the sensor has malfunctioned in any way. After a few
The ORP sensor (ORP option) is used to measure the oxidation reduction potential of the
swimming pool (RX). The ORP measurement is used to adjust chlorine production.
Warning: In order to get a good ORP measurement, the pH level must be below 7.3. If
the pH level is too high (>7.5) , the ORP measurement is distorted and may lead to
overproduction of chlorine.
