4. Installing.
The "AirStar" is designed for direct connection/permanent
installation which must be carried out by a competent
specialist. Due to the hazards associated with the operation
of electrical appliances in shower rooms and bathrooms,
it is essential that the requisite VDE 0100 und 0107 instal-
lation rules are observed.
For safety distances see page 3. The electrical installation
must include a switch with a contact opening (3 mm) for
all-pole disconnection of the appliance.

1. Pull the mounting plate downwards out of the base
section.
2. When the installation point has been selected (must be
outside the danger zone as indicated in the drawing on
page 3!), use the mounting plate as a template to mark
the mounting holes; drill the holes and insert the
dowels (dowels and screws included with the appliance).
3. Pull the mains cable through the corresponding opening
in the mounting plate; mount the plate with the screws
(see fig. 1); connect the cable to terminal L+N
(see fig. 2).
4. Position the appliance on the mounting plate and push
downwards until it is locked in place. Secure with the
supplied screw (see fig. 3).
