We recommend pressing the piston rod forward until resistance is felt. The piston is now rests on
the cartridge and application can then be started as quickly as possible.

Types of work

Comply with all safety instructions and instructions for use.

and the instructions for use of the foil pack.

Pressing out compound

1. Press the switch.
2. Press out the compound.
The speed with which the compound is output can be varied with the aid of the speed control wheel.

Removing the cartridge

1. Press the release button.
2. Pull the piston rod back as far as they will go.
3. Lift the cartridge at the front and pull it out of the cartridge holder.

Removing the foil pack

1. Unscrew the front panel.
2. Remove the nozzle together with the remaining foil pack.

Carefully remove stubborn dirt.
Clean the air vents carefully with a dry brush.
Use only a slightly damp cloth to clean the casing. Do not use cleaning agents containing silicone as
these can attack the plastic parts.

Keep the battery free from oil and grease.

Avoid ingress of moisture.
Maintenance
Check all visible parts and controls for signs of damage at regular intervals and make sure that they all
function correctly.
Do not operate the product if signs of damage are found or if parts malfunction. Have it repaired
immediately by Hilti Service.
After cleaning and maintenance, fit all guards or protective devices and check that they function correctly.
