MAINTENANCE
IMPORTANT: Before carrying out any maintenance work on the fan, ensure that it is
disconnected from the mains electrical supply.
1.- Periodic cleaning is the only maintenance required.
2.- Clean the fan using a soft brush or soft cloth to avoid damaging the finish.
3.- When carrying out maintenance work, do not use the fan blades as a support as they
could become unbalanced and so increase the vibration of the fan.
4.- Do not use abrasive cleaning agents as these could damage the finish of the fan.
5.- Do not use water when cleaning the fan as this could cause damage to the motor and
deform the fan blades.
PROBLEM SOLVING
IMPORTANT: Before working on the fan ensure that it is disconnected from the mains electricity
supply.
Excessive balancing fan
In the case that there is an excessive balancing, verify the following points:
1. Impellers are dispatched in groups of three units due to weight reasons. If you have installed
more than one fan, make sure that impellers have not been mixed. Maximum weight desviation
between impellers installed in the fan must be of 2 grams.
2. As indicated below, make sure that impellers are correctly aligned:
– Near to the impeller's tip, fix a cord from the roof with a weight. (Fig. 9)
– Turn the fan manually and mark in the cord the passing of each impeller. (9A)
– Make sure that the maximum misalignment between all impellers does not exceed of 2mm.
