Remove any combustion residue using a brass wire
brush. You may have to clean the nozzles, injectors
and burner rails using a soft brush and blow the dirt
and dust out with compressed air. If the burner is
very dirty, wash it out with soapy water and rinse it
with clean water.

Put the nozzle fitting back on the burner.
7.3
Cleaning and decalcifying the heating element
To clean the heating element you must first remove the
burner and then the heating element.

Caution:!
Unit damage!
Bending the heating element will cause pre-
mature wear in the unit.
>
Do not bend the unit's heating element
when removing and installing it.
>
Disconnect the safety thermostat.

Undo the cap nuts on the cold water inlet and on the
hot water outlet.
>
Undo the screws on the clips which fasten the hot
and cold water pipes to the rear wall.
>
Undo the two clips which fasten the heating element
to the flow cut-out.
>
Pull out the heating element down towards you.
