cable drum before use. Check the ca-
ble for damage.
•
Before any work on the equipment,
during work breaks and in the case
of non-use, remove the plug from the
socket.
•
The cross-section of the power sup-
ply cable must not be less than
2 x 2,5 mm².
•
Wear sturdy footwear to protect
against electric shock.
•
To protect against electric shock, oper-
ate the equipment only in an upright
position.
Start-up
In keeping with current regulations a
pressure cleaner must never be oper-
ated off the drinking water mains
supply without a controllable back-
flow preventer. A suitable backflow
preventer in conformity with
EN 12729 type BA must be used.
Water that has passed through a backflow
preventer is classified as undrinkable.
A backflow preventer is available in spe-
cialist shops.
•
Employ an ordinary garden hose for
the water intake and ensure sufficient
length.
•
Use the device on a domestic water
connection with an output of at least
450 l/h.
•
Irrespective of the water pipe, you can
also use the device (for example, rain
barrel) through the integrated water
suction function. This function must only
be used with a suction hose with a fil-
ter basket.
The device itself must not be immer-
sed in open water sources. There
is a risk of personal injury from an
electric shock.
Do not draw in any water from na-
tural accumulations. There is a risk
of contamination from backwashed
cleaning agent.
Setting up
1. Fold the handle after upwards until
it engages with a resistor. Insert the
crank of the reel (17) to the stop into
the hose drum. The handle clicks into
place. Fold out the handle of the crank.
It fixed via a resistor.
If the crankshaft of the hose drum
(17) can not simply be pushed as
far as it will go, pull out the cranks-
haft of the hose drum (17) and turn
the crankshaft of the hose drum (17)
to a different position before retur-
ning it.
2. Slide the holder for mains cable
(14/15) and the jet gun holder (6)
onto the guides on the device housing.
3. Connect the high-pressure fitting (jet
gun) (4) to the jet gun (1). Ensure that
the hose runs to the front, so as not to
impede the handle (20).
4. Connect the feed hose to the water
supply and allow water to escape from
the other end of the feed hose with no
bubbles, in order to expel the air from
the feed hose. Switch off the water tap.
5. Connect the feed hose with the help of
the quick connector for garden hose
adapter (21) with the water connection
coupling (11) and the water connec-
tion (12) on the device.
6. Connect to the spray gun (1) by insert-
ing and screwing in the jet pipe (9).
7. If the jet pipe (9) is mounted, connect
either the turbo dirt mill (10) or the
standard Vario nozzle (24) by screw-
ing in with the jet pipe (9).
