nel (1 Master + 2 Slave). The cabinet must be installed with an inclination of at least 10 mm
towards the wall (Fig. 4 Rif. 6)
N.B. All these operation should be performed by specialized technical personnel only.

8. Multiplexing of cabinets

To multiplex two or more cabinets, follow the instructions given on Pag. 32.

9. Electric connections

- The cabinet must be protected upstream by means of a thermomagnetic omnipolar automatic switch,
with suitable characteristics, which also works as main knife switch in the line.
- The operator must know the switch position in order for it to be readily accessible in case of
EMERGENCY.
- The electric system must be grounded.
- First of all, make sure that the power supply voltage is the same as that indicated on the nameplate
400V/50Hz three-phase.
- In order to guarantee regular operation, the maximum voltage variation must fall between +/-6% of
the nominal value.
- Make sure the supply line is wired with cables with an adequate cross-section, and is protected
against current overload and grounded in conformity with the laws in effect.
- For power supply lines that are longer than 4 - 5 m, increase the cable section accordingly.
- In the event of a power failure, make sure that all the electric appliances in the shop can be re-started
without activating the over-current protections; if not, modify the system so as to differentiate start-up
of the various devices.
- The installer should provide the anchorage for all the cables entering and leaving the cabinet.
The automatic magnetothermal switch must not open the circuit on neutral without also opening it on
the phases at the same time and, in any case, the opening distance of the contacts must be at least
3 mm.
N.B. All these operation should be performed by specialized technical personnel only.

10.Control and adjustment of temperature (Fig. 4)

The refrigeration temperature is controlled with the mechanical thermometer (Rif. 7) or electronic con-
trol device (Rif. 9). Normally the controller is set in the factory during testing, but it is possible to alter
programming. To do so, please refer to the instructions given by the control device manufacturer. If
using electronic control devices to adjust the frame heating wires, these must be operated at full power.
This adjustment only applies to glass doors.
Economisers
If using electronic systems commonly referred to as 'economisers' (due to the door heating
wire adjustment function), these must be connected to the glass door power supply
only. Connecting the economisers to the frame heating wire power supply lines and not to
the door ones may damage the wires and invalidate the product warranty.
Frame wires must operate at full power.
N.B. All these operations should be performed by specialized technical personnel only.

11.Cabinet loading (Fig. 4-Fig. 6)

A number of important rules should be followed in loading the cabinet:
- load the cabinet one door at a time;
- do not load the cabinet with all doors open at the same time (Fig. 6);
- block the door open until loading is complete, avoiding continually opening and closing;
- arrange the goods in a uniform, orderly manner to avoid overloading the shelves, max. load allowed
2
160 kg/m
;
- arrange the goods so that they do not obstruct the flow of chilled air (Rif. 5);
- the arrangement of the goods, without empty spaces, assures the best operation of the cabinet;
- leave approx 30 mm space between the items and the shelf immediately above;
- we recommend that the first loaded items are consumed first and only then the last loaded ones (item
turnover);
- max. load allowed in the tray is approx. 300 kg/m
- shelves can be inclined in 2 positions 0°; -10°.
