BRAKE DISC WEAR
Measure the thickness of each disc at the point
where it has worn the most. Replace the disc if it
has worn past the service limit.
Disc thickness
DISC STANDARD
Front 0.11 in.
(3 mm)
Rear 0.15 in.
(4 mm)
DISC CLEANING
Poor braking can also be caused by oil on the disc.
Oil or grease on the disc must be cleaned off with a
high flash-point oil free solvent, such as acetone or
lacquer thinner.
