1. Mount the radio/kit assembly to the
sub-dash with (3) 7mm hex-head
screws previously removed (run the
upper left screw through the dash
plastic for the Grand Prix). (Figure A)
Continue to Step 2
Sunfire
1. Mount the radio/kit assembly to the
sub-dash with (1) 7mm hex-head
screws previously removed in Step 1
(Figure A)
Kit Assembly 99-3009
"A" and (1) Phillips pan-head screw
supplied "B". (Figure B)
Continue to Step 2
2. Locate the factory wiring harness in
the dash. Metra recommends using
the proper mating adapter from
Metra or AXXESS. Re-connect the
negative battery terminal and test
the radio for proper operation.
3. Reassemble dash in reverse order of
disassembly.

screws previously removed in Step
1 and (1) Carriage Bolt and (1) Keps
(Figure A)
