All accessories, switches, and especially air bag indicator lights must be plugged in before reconnecting the battery or cycling the ignition.
  • Página 3 Dash Disassembly 99-3033 Chevrolet Caprice/Impala 1985-1990 1. Open the glove box and remove (4) hex head screws from the door hinge. (Figure A) Support 2. Remove (2) hex head screws from the plate Heater top of the glove box liner. (Figure A)

    Kit Assembly 99-3033 Kit preparation 1. Secure the radio housing to the support plate with (2) hex head screws previously removed. (Figure A) 2. Mount the climate control cluster to the front of the support plate with (2) hex head screws previously removed.

    Snap trim plate into the radio housing. 3. Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter from Metra or AXXESS. Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the unit for (Figure A) proper operation.

    3. Snap the Trim plate into the Radio Housing. 4. Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter from Metra or (Figure A) AXXESS. Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation.
