Before Use
Handling the unit
Permox SilentCare has a telescopic handle and large wheels
permitting easy transport without having to carry the unit.
The telescopic handle can be set to two heights.
To set the required height:
1 Press the button and set the telescopic handle to one of the
two heights.
Tilt the unit backwards by pressing against the handle:
Permox SilentCare can now be transported without
difficulty.
Pull the unit slowly over door thresholds in order to avoid
damage.
Do not pull the unit up steps and stairs, otherwise it may
be damaged.
Lifting the unit
Permox SilentCare weighs approx. 25 kg. It should not be
lifted at all if possible.
If the unit must be lifted:
1 Press the button and push the telescopic handle
completely down.
Use both hands to lift the unit:
1 grasp the telescopic handle and
2 the additional handle underneath the unit
– keep an upright posture to avoid back injuries.
If the unit must be operated in an elevated position, it
must be placed on a platform and secured to prevent it
rolling off.
The unit must always be transported and positioned
upright, otherwise faults or defects may arise.
