If a fault arises, follow the recommended step-by-step procedure.

Unit does not run,
continuous acoustic alarm
Unit runs,
red alarm lamp flashes,

no acoustic alarm,
no alarm lamp lights up,
no oxygen supply

Cause
Unit has been switched on but the mains
cable is not plugged in.
Fuse has blown.
Oxygen concentration is too low because
a hose has been kinked or is not
connected correctly.
Oxygen concentration is too low because
a hose is fouled.
Too little air is taken in because the dust
filter is fouled.
Oxygen flow has been changed several
times over the whole flow range within a
very short space of time.
Device error
No oxygen supply because a hose has
not been connected.
The unit has overheated because the
dust filter is fouled.
The unit may have overheated or an
internal fault may have occurred because
the oxygen flow has repeatedly been
changed over the entire range within a
very short space of time.

Oxygen is not supplied because a hose
has not been connected.
Fault – Cause – Remedy
Remedy
1. Check that the mains cable
has been connected correctly.
2. Call a service expert.
1. Ensure that all hoses have been
connected correctly and are not
kinked.
2. Ensure that all hoses
are clean.
3. Clean the dust filter, page 23.
4. Switch off the unit, leave it to cool for
approx. 30 minutes and switch on
again. Do not change the set flow.
5. Call a service expert. The unit can still
be used without reservation, but the
oxygen concentration may be too low.
