Step 3
Preparing the humidifier unit
1 Plug the extension hose into the oxygen outlet.
Remove the humidifier bottle from the humidifier unit.
2 Unscrew the cap on the humidifier bottle.
3 Fill the humidifier bottle with distilled, sterilized or
demineralized water – up to the mark.
Do not use tap water – risk of infection.
2 Screw the cap back onto the humidifier bottle.
Place the humidifier bottle in the humidifier unit.
The humidifier bottle must always be placed in the
humidifier unit. Ensure that the humidifier unit cannot
topple over otherwise water may enter the hose and
cause the unit to malfunction.
The water level must not be allowed to drop below the
minimum mark – the bottle must be refilled in good time.
Step 4
Positioning the humidifier unit
The humidifier unit can be detached and positioned wherever
it is needed.
Remove the humidifier unit from the Permox SilentCare,
4 unroll the extension hose from the reel and position the
humidifier unit where it is needed.
Ensure that the hose is neither kinked nor crushed,
otherwise the flow of oxygen will be interrupted.
