When "R (reverse)" is selected as the ROTATION MODE, the AUTO REVERSE function does
not work.

When load is applied continuously for a long time, the rotation may stop automatically to
prevent overheating. (In such a case, "
this happens, stop using the Motor Handpiece and wait till it cools down.
8-4 Calibration
This function reduces variance in the rotation speed among individual Motor Hanpieces and variance in the
torque among individual Contra Angle Heads.
) Remove the file.
2) Lubricate the Contra Angle Head.
3) Turn ON the power.
4) Press both (-) and (+) of the SPEED Key together for one second or longer.
5) The alarm sounds and "
6) Mount the Contra Angle Head onto the Motor Handpiece.
7) Press the MEMORY Key.
8) The rotation of the Motor Handpiece starts. Leave it until the rotation stops.
9) The rotation stops and the alarm sounds. When the display on the LCD Panel returns to the original state,
the calibration is complete.
0) To stop the calibration, turn OFF the power.
NOTICE
•
Make sure to lubricate the Contra Angle Head prior to calibration. If the Head is not lubricated,
the calibration cannot be performed properly.
•
Do not touch the rotational axis of the Contra Angle Head or apply load during calibration. The
measuring may not be accurate.
•
This function cannot absorb individual differences of Motor Handpieces and Contra Angle
Heads completely.
8-5 Selecting the Alarm Sound Volume
The alarm sound volume can be selected from High, Low and Limited OFF.
) Press and hold down both (-) and (+) of the PROGRAM Key together.
2) The ALARM SOUND VOLUME display on the LCD Panel changes to represent the sound volume.
3) When the volume of your choice is displayed, release the PROGRAM Key to set the sound volume.

*The alarm sounds in the low volume for confirmation and error alert. The alarm does not sound during
reverse rotation or when the torque has reached the specified upper limit.

The alarm setting is saved even when the power is switched OFF.
