How to configure an IP address on your PC

1. Enter an IP address and the subnet mask to be
used by your PC. See fig. 6.
2. Open "Control Panel".
3. Select "Network and Sharing Center".
4. Click [Change adapter settings].
5. Right-click and select "Properties" for the Ether-
net adapter. Typically "Local Area Connection".
6. Select properties for "Internet Protocol Version 4
(TCP/IPv4)".
7. Select the "Alternate Configuration" tab.
