Time Configuration

This web page is used to configure the CIM 500
clock.

Object Description
Enter the IP address of the SNTP server and the CIM 500 will automatically adjust its
clock. If you do not configure the SNTP server, or the connection is lost, the module will

use the internal clock. If you enter a URL, the module will look it up via a DNS server
and replace it with the IP address.
Current time Set the time manually.
Current date Set the date manually.
The difference in hours and minutes from Universal Time, Coordinated (UTC) for a par-
ticular time. If no SNTP server is used, it is not necessary to configure the UTC offset.
UTC offset
Example: The local time in a time zone which observes UTC-1 is calculated by subtrac-
ting 1 hour from the UTC.
The CIM 500 does not include any bat-
tery backup for the real-time clock.
Nota
Time settings will therefore not be
saved if the power supply is interrup-
ted.
