Products and solvents compatibility.
Handling:
- MAKE SURE that the products and solvents
used are chemically compatible with the parts
which are in direct contact with the product, as
indicated in the TECHNICAL DATA SHEETS (wet
areas).
- Always read the information supplied by the
manufacturer of the products before using these
with this equipment. Use the protection and safety
measures required, for the correct application of
the product, in accordance with current applicable
legislation.
- Do not use trichloroethane 1.1.1, methylene
chloride or other halogen hydrocarbide solvents,
or products containing these solvents, with this
equipment, which contain aluminium and/or zinc
parts.
These substances could give rise to dangerous
chemical reactions involving the risk of explosion
causing loss of life, severe physical injuries and/or
serious material damages.
This equipment is for PROFESSIONAL use only. USE AND MAINTENANCE must be carried
out by qualified staff WHO HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD the IMPORTANT information
relating to the SAFETY OF PERSONNEL AND EQUIPMENT described in this manual and in
3.1. RISK OF INJECTION OF FLUIDS

3.1.1. General safety

With this equipment, products are treated at very
high pressures. The jet sprayed from the gun,
through leaks or from the breakage of any
component may cause the product to be injected
through one's skin at high pressure, causing
deep wounds which may involve amputation.
Likewise, the spraying or splashing of products
into one's eyes may cause severe harm.

To know how to correctly use your equipment,
read this manual carefully.
After you have finished reading it, keep it in a
secure place for future reference.

2. WARNINGS

General safety:
Any improper use of the spraying equipment or
its accessories, such as excessive pressure,
modification of parts or the use of substances
which are chemically incompatible, may give rise
to the breakage of elements and cause the
injection of product through the skin, other serious
injuries, fire, or damage to surrounding materials.
- NEVER modify any equipment component; any
such modification will cause malfunction.
- CHECK the spraying equipment components
regularly and repair or replace damaged or worn
parts.
This equipment generates the MAXIMUM
WORKING PRESSURE specified in the technical
data. Make sure the spraying equipment and the
accessories used require the same amount of
pressure. NEVER exceed the maximum working
pressure capacity of any component of the
system.

3. SAFETY ADVICE

WARNING

NEVER aim the gun toward a person or toward
oneself.
NEVER insert hands or fingers in the tip.
NEVER attempt to remove the gun during rinsing,
this is NOT a pneumatic system.
ALWAYS follow the decompression procedure
described below before cleaning or removing the
tip or carrying out maintenance works on any
part of the equipment.
