Waterproof Cargo Case Set and Quick Release Mount

24044-00001 (Waterproof Cargo Case), 24043-00001 (Quick Release Mount)
Tools required
• 4 mm hex wrench
• Torque wrench
Installation
1. Make sure the PT is powered off and unplugged.
2. Install a Quick Release Mount to each Waterproof Case using four 20 mm
fasteners, two spacers (between the mount and case), and four Nyloc
nuts, as shown in Figure 11. Torque the fasteners to 11.0 N-m (8.1 ft-lbf).
3. Install four Plastic nut covers over the four Nyloc nuts.
4. Secure the Waterproof Case to the Cargo Rack using the Quick Release
Mount as shown in Figure 12.
NOTE
Be sure the Quick Release Mount engages the Quick Release Knob firmly
and securely, with an audible "click."
Removal
1. Make sure the PT is powered off and unplugged.
2. Remove the Waterproof Case from the Cargo Rack by pulling out on the
Quick Release Knob, while tilting the Waterproof Case away from the
Cargo Rack.
NOTE
Refer to the Weight Limits and Maximum Allowable Cargo Weight
sections (p. 3) before using this accessory.
