Switching of the relay can be delayed with respect to the alarm signal in order to allow restoring the
safety conditions without interrupting the gas supply.
Behaviour in case of alarm
In the case of gas leak alarm (fixed red light and audible alarm) proceed as follows:
1) Put out all free flames
2) Close the valve on the gas meter or LPG cylinder
3) Do not switch lights on or off; do not actuate electrically powered appliances or devices
4) Open doors and windows to increase ventilation of the environment
When the gas concentration drops below the alarm level, the gas leak detector ceases the alarm
automatically and resets the normal operating conditions.
If the alarm ceases, it is necessary to identify the cause lying behind it and to act accordingly.
If, after 1 minute the alarm ceases, but the Yellow LED remains lighted on, it means that the sensor
has been damaged and the gas leak detector must be replaced.
After identifying the cause of the event, restore the gas supply (by raising, if necessary, the solenoid
valve knob); if the alarm persists and it is not possible to identify or eliminate the cause of the
presence of gas, evacuate the building, then from the outside, advise the emergency service.
