The procedure should be activated by the main (master) detector. It allows assigning an address to
the secondary (slave) detectors) connected to it. See "Networking" section for further information.
When using a network of two or more gas leak detectors, only one should be considered as main
(Master), all the others should be considered as secondary (Slave).
If a single gas leak detector is used, it should be configured as Slave.
Mounting of the gas leak detector, wall version "GSX":
1) Secure the mounting plate on the wall, after making sure that the cables for power supply, solenoid
valve and serial communication cables are placed in the required area. Use the screws and plugs
contained in the kit and the two vertical slots. For fastening, it is possible to use the round or
rectangular boxes if already existing in the wall; if necessary use relative slots.
2) Make the electrical connection of the power supply, solenoid valve and serial communication (all the
cables must be installed subtrack).
3) Insert the gas leak detector in relative slides mounting plate and press until the spring tab snaps in
place. For removal of the leak detector, raise the side spring tab by levering with a small screwdriver
4) Affix the label with the leak detector replacement date in the way it will be visible when the leak
detector is installed.
