Fitting the clamping unit
Carry out the following steps:

1. Exhaust the HMPL−... and if necessary dismantle it.
2. Place the piston rod of the HMPL−... by hand in the extended end position.
3. Place the flange 1 and the housing 3
together with the centring sleeves pro
vided on the HMPL−... .
In order to move the clamping rod, you
must press the manual device 5 on the
clamping unit.
4. Tighten the fastening screw in the hole of
the flange. The tightening torques are
shown in Fig. 6.
