5.2 - HIGHER SHIFTING SPEED
Place the chain on the minor front
chainring and on the smaller sprocket.
The maximum shifting speed can be
achieved by adjusting the screw G
(Fig.3) until the upper wheel of the rear
G
derailleur is as close as possible to the
sprocket but, at the same time, allows
the correct shifting of the rear derailleur
between the sprocket itself and the
nearby sprocket without noise coming
from the rear derailleur itself.
Noise of vibrations of the rear derailleur
can be caused by the excessive proxi-
mity of the upper wheel to the cassette,
whereas a slow shifting can be caused
by he excessive distance of the upper
wheel from the cassette (as described
above).
