Only DM-TT-50(80), DM-TT-10(25) and DM-TT-01(05) detector modules certified to VdS may
be used.
The detector module settings are configured via the RPS software. The DIP switches on the
detector module have no function.
The sensitivity value is based on measurements with standard test fires
(old value in brackets).

Setting the Detector Address
See Figure 4, Page 5.
The aspirating smoke detector is set via the 8 DIP switches on the motherboard ("DIP") using
a suitable plastic insulated tool.
The default address is "0" (all DIP switches to "off").
The DIP switch settings for all approved addresses are listed from Page 6 (0 = off, 1 = on).

It is not permitted to use different operating modes in one loop/stub/T branch next to each
other.
Setting the Fan Voltage
See Figure 4, Page 5.
The fan voltage on the motherboard is set using jumper BR4.
The default setting is marked in bold.

The fan covers for both aspiration pipes are removed.
The two pipe system connections are cut out.
The pin pair on jumper BR1 is open (see Figure 4, Page 5).
Spread the brackets provided for fixing the detector module slightly apart.
Carefully insert the detector module until you hear it click into place. Make sure that the
used detector module is fixed tightly and securely by the bracket by additionally pushing
together the brackets by hand.
Use the ribbon cable to connect detector module 1 to the "HEAD 1" connection on the
motherboard.
FAS-420-TP2 and FAS-420-TT2 variants:
Use the ribbon cable to connect detector module 2 to the "HEAD 2" connection on the
motherboard.
Reconnect the display board cable to the "DISPLAY" connection on the motherboard.
