System overview
The ABIDRIVE V2 is part of a welding system. The wire required for TIG welding is delivered through the
cable assembly and to the manual welding torch (2).
The wire is fed constantly to the TIG arc via a four-roll drive. The TIG arc is produced by an ABITIG manual
welding torch (2) and a power source (3).
The components needed for welding, such as welding current, shielding gas and coolant, are connected to
the ABIDRIVE V2 (1) as required. The required welding wire depends on the material to be welded and
is taken from the integrated wire spool.

Check the delivery for damage (visual inspection).
If the delivery has been damaged during transportation, contact the last
carrier immediately. Retain the packaging for potential inspection by the
carrier.
