CAUTION!
Before putting the sprayer on your back, make sure the harness straps are not stuck in the throttle lever.
7. Sprayer pre-use inspection
Before using the sprayer, it is very important to carry out the pre-use inspection to prevent possible injuries to the operator, damages
to the sprayer and the environment.
So, every time before using the sprayer, always check for agrochemical, oil or gasoline leaks under the engine and all over the sprayer.
NOTE: In case there is any leak, check the "15. Troubleshooting" item or contact specialized technical assistance to have it repaired
immediately.
7.1. Checking the engine oil level
WARNING!
• Before carrying out any pre-use inspection, make sure the engine is OFF to prevent it from starting
by accident.
• Carry out the pre-use inspection on a level surface.
Before starting the engine check the engine oil level and add if necessary add more oil until the maximum fill line is obtained. If the
engine is used continuously for long periods, check engine oil level every 10 hours of operation.
CAUTION!
The engine oil affects directly the performance and the useful life of the engine. We do not recommend using
vegetable oil or non-detergent oil.
Before checking the engine oil level, make sure to turn off the engine and set the sprayer on level ground.
Follow these steps:
a. Remove the oil tank filler cap;
b. Check the oil level. If it is below the maximum fill line, add recommended oil until the maximum fill line.
c. Put the oil tank filler cap back.
NOTE: To prevent the oil from overflowing, add it slowly and carefully as the tank capacity is small. After adding oil, check if the cap is
well placed before restarting the engine.
