6. Initial use
1. The dehydrator trays must be clean and wiped with a cloth be-
fore using them for the first time.
2. Place the prepared food items on the desired trays. Then place
the trays correctly in the dehydrator and put the lid on the ap-
pliance.
3. Note that the strong aromas from some food items may be
transferred to other food items. This may adversely affect the
taste.
4. Clean the drip tray and the liquid collection chamber after dry-
ing.
6.1 Connection
Connect the dehydrator with the power cable attached to the appli-
ance into a standard household electrical socket. The display shows
"00HR" after some time. The timer is now set to "00". It is set to "0"
hours. The appliance is ready. If the digits "00" start flashing, then it
indicates that the appliance is waiting for further input .
6.3 Configuring the operating time
If the display on the right side display the letters Hr (abbreviation
for the English word "hour"), and the two left-digit start to flash, the
time increases by one hour each time you press the "Time / Temp"

maximum operating time of 36 hours, press the "Time / Temp" but-
ton (

The appliance is now ready again. In this case, it does not start.
