REPLACING BRUSHROLL

When To Rep l ace
WARNING - Risk of personal injury - brushroll
may suddenly restart - unplug before cleaning
or servicing. When brushroll brushes are worn, it
should be replaced.
HOW TO REMOVE

Turn cleaner over
and remove 5
screws as is
indicated by arrows.

Remove bottom
plate.

Remove brushroll.

Align new brush
roll and belt.

Replace brushroll.

Replace bottom
plate and screws.

To check condition of brushes, move the edge of
a card across bottom plate while turning brushroll
(Fig. 5.6). To maintain cleaning effectiveness,
replace brushroll if brushes do not touch card.
