3.3.1. Island operation

To enable the system to operate in an isolated manner the following is necessary:
• An external contactor after the wattmeter connection, connected to the INGECON EMS Manager.
• Power the INGECON EMS Manager using the AC Out output of one of the inverters/chargers.
If you do not want to equip the system with island operation, the additional external switch will not be necessary
and the INGECON EMS Manager can be powered from the installation's consumption grid.
