INGECON EMS Tools
Ingeteam recommends using the data table of section "5.1. System parameters" (to be completed by
the user) to carry out the entire configuration process.

6.5.1. Wattmeter configuration

Ensure direct connection with the INGECON EMS Manager and that control has been stopped (see Section "6.4.
Plant access in installer mode").
Select the wattmeter in the Electrical Schema tab (Control bar > View > Electrical Schema) and complete the
parameters displayed in the Properties panel.
Both the A65 and A65+ wattmeters must have Wattype set to A65.
When the wattmeter configuration is complete, select Save.

6.5.2. Inverter configuration

Ensure direct connection with the INGECON EMS Manager and that control has been stopped (see Section "6.4.
Plant access in installer mode").
Select Add device on the Control bar and configure all the inverters of the installation.
PV inverters
Select Inverter in the Device Type list and add the data requested (for unknown data check with your network
administrator).
Select Find. If the unit is correctly connected and configured a warning is displayed with the inverter serial number
and firmware. Finally, save the settings by selecting Save.
Inverters/Chargers
Do the same process as in the case above, selecting Home in the Device Type list.
The Discharge Power Margin parameter sets the minimum consumption power that should exist from the grid for
discharge from the inverter/charger to be permitted.
In three-phase installation with synchronisation between inverters/chargers, the parameters Maximum SoC/VBat
and Minimum SoC/VBat refer to battery voltage (VBat), in Volts. In other cases, these parameters are configured
through the charge state (SoC), in %.
INGECON EMS Tools lets you configure as many inverters as required for subsequent real connection
to the system. Once connected, the plant can be enabled from the application.

6.5.3. INGECON EMS Manager Configuration

It is necessary to configure the self-consumption strategy in INGECON EMS Tools. Ensure direct connection
with the INGECON EMS Manager and that control has been stopped (see Section "6.4. Plant access in installer
mode").
Select the device in the Electrical Schema tab (Control bar > View > Electrical Schema) and complete the
parameters in the Properties panel as indicated below:
Parameter
3-Phase Battery System
Backup mode enabled
Contracted Power (W)
Grid Power Target (W)
AAX2019IQM01_A - Installation and usage manual
Select this parameter in three-phase installations with storage.
Select this parameter if your system has storage and allows operation in isolation. Additionally,
a digital output of the INGECON EMS Manager must be associated with this function (see
"Load statuses" in this section).
Set this parameter to null.
Exchange power required with the grid: positive values indicate minimum consumption in
the grid, and negative values indicate the injection power desired in the grid from PV instant
generation.
