6. INGECON EMS Tools
The INGECON EMS tools software is the PC application required to carry out the monitoring and configuration of
self-consumption installations. Highlighted among its features are:
•
Registration of the INGECON EMS Manager in INGECON EMS Tools.
•
Configuration and start-up of the plant.
•
Modification of the configured components, as well as the ability to add new equipment.
•
Viewing the production data.
•
Configuration of load control.
6.1. Installation
Download the software from the Ingeteam web page, run the file and start the installation. Follow the instructions.
System requirements: Windows 7 and a minimum of 1Gb of RAM. The application is compatible with
32 and 64-bit configurations. .Net Framework 4.0 is required for it to operate, normally included as
part of the operating system.
INGECON EMS Tools software is owned by Ingeteam.
6.2. Registration of the INGECON EMS Manager
Once the software is installed, launch the application from the shortcut created on the desktop.
The first step is to register the INGECON EMS Manager. This registration may be done:
•
Via Internet access, by registering with a username and password.
•
Locally, connecting the INGECON EMS Manager to the same network as the PC, via IP address
registration.
