Both muting inputs must be activated by two or four muting sensors
which have been properly connected and positioned to ensure that
personnel are not exposed to unwanted muting activations or
hazardous situations.
If you are using the muting function you will also need to connect
the external muting control lamp (muting lamp), otherwise it will not
be possible to activate this function.
Should the muting lamp not be connected, activating muting or
override would cause the safety contacts to open and the device
would be disabled on account of a muting lamp malfunction
(see Ch. 7.4 "Error messages and diagnostics").
Fig. 23 shows the muting operating modes.
