5.8 Storage of settings
When switching on the unit, the settings of the last session appear automatically. The mode and
rotational speed of the motor are stored.
5.9 Function Control
Please control all functions prior to operating the device! After switching on the unit the data selected
last will appear on the display.
5.9.1 Electronic Motor
Press step on foot pedal and electronic motor will gear up to set number of revolutions. Disengage
step and electronic motor will reduce speed again.
5.9.2 Rotating direction of electronic motor
Press button "
" on foot pedal briefly: Rotating direction of electronic motor will change. Press step
on foot pedal and electronic motor will turn counterclockwise. An intermittent audio-signal will sound.
Disengage step and electronic motor as well as signal will stop. Press button "
Rotating direction of micro motor will change again. Press step on foot pedal and electronic motor will
turn in clockwise direction (no audio-signal). Disengage step again.
5.9.3 Program mode
Press button "Programm" on foot pedal briefly: mode changes.
For care of the material, please do not fail to comply with the following important points:

Do not use cleaning agents containing solvents !
•
Should the sterilised material not be used immediately, it should be labelled on
the packaging with sterilisation indicator and sterilisation date!
6.1 Control unit and footpedal
The patient should not come into contact with the control unit and the footpedal:
Only carry out outside wiping disinfection with microbiologically tested surface disinfectants or 80% vol.
ethylic alcohol.
Only wipe control unit with cloth. Please do not perform spray cleaning or spray
disinfection, because the unit is not sealed!
6.2 Electronic motor 31ESS
•
Do not bend motor cable, this may lead to possible cable rupture!
•
Do not clean electronic motor with compressed air!
•
Autoclaving without transparent bag may damage the electronic motor!
•
Let the electronic motor cool down after autoclaving!
1)
Clean motor with cable and plug, getting rid of residues. For this, use damp cloth with cleaning or
disinfection agents for wiping.
2)
Spray motor with "Nou-Clean" - Spray for 1s (For operation, see spray labelling!).
3)
Pack motor in sterile goods individual packaging (see DIN 58953).
