You can use the Promed Irt-60 thermometer to measure body, room and surface temperatures.
measuring the body temperature
what you should know before performing measurements:
The body temperature measurement delivers a measured value providing information about
the current human body temperature. If you are uncertain about how to interpret the results or
if abnormal values are measured, please contact your attending doctor. This also applies to
minor changes in temperature if other symptoms (e.g. anxiety, excessive sweating, reddening
of the skin, high pulse rate, tendency to collapse etc.) occur in addition. Temperatures
measured with different thermometers cannot be compared to each other. For this reason,
inform your doctor (or take into account in a self-diagnosis) of which thermometer you used
and on which part of the body you carried out the measurement.
The reliability of the measuring result cannot be guaranteed if the temperature
is measured in different parts of the body (e.g. first measurement on the forehead, second
measurement on the arm).

In order to carry out a measurement, switch on the thermometer as described above and
point the measuring sensor (a) to the forehead at a distance of 3 – 5 cm. Then press the
RU
measuring button (D) once. You hear a short beep and can read the measuring result from
the display (b).
with a measuring result below 37.3° c (99.1° F), the display (b) lights up green. This means
that you have a normal body temperature.
PL
with a measuring result between 37.4° c and 37.9° c (99.3° F and 100.2° F), the display
(b) lights up orange. This means that you have an increased body temperature or mild fever.
with a measuring result above 38° c (100.4° F), the thermometer triggers an alarm. You
SE
hear a beep five (5) times and the display (b) lights up red. This means that you have a fever.
If the temperature measured is below 32° c (89.6° F), the information "Lo" is shown on the
display.
FI
If the temperature measured is above 42.9° c (109.2° F), the information "Hi" is shown on
the display.
