2.3. ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION TO GENERATING SET.
The GALA 160 PFC appliances are suitable for electrical installation to generating set. These equipments include an
assessment system, which continuously verifies the supply voltage, so that the equipment incorporates a
compensation system of the input voltage, being operative in a range from 95 V to 265 V.
For correct operation with electrical generating set the following minimum powers are required:
Welding with 2.5 mm coated electrode (I2=80 A): Single-phase set, Pmin = 2.2 KVA
Welding with 3.25 mm coated electrode (I2=110 ÷140A): Single-phase set, Pmin = 3.3 KVA
Welding with 4 mm coated electrode (I2=130 ÷160A): Single-phase set, Pmin = 5.5 KVA
3. START-UP. OPERATION AND ADJUSTMENT CONTROLS.
3.1. OPERATION CONTROLS.
The equipment can be started up once the electrical supply installation has been carried out. This section describes
the control and regulation system of the GALA 160 PFC equipment.
