A. Important
Before using your new submarine please read the user manual thoroughly. This
submarine is not intended for those under 8 years of age, unless closely supervised
by an adult.

C. Caution!
1. Contains small parts! not suitable for children under 3 years. This submarine
contains small parts, which can be dangerous if swallowed. Please keep out of
reach of children under 3 years old.
2. Only use in domestic cold fish tanks (unsuitable for marine fish tanks) or small
ponds, with a water depth no greater than 0.5m,length no greater than 2.5m and
width no greater than 2.5m
3. This submarine is not intended for outdoor use.
4. Do not use in salt water, chemical water or contaminated water.
5. Do not use in large bodies of water, such as, but not limited to, the ocean, rivers,
lakes, canals, swimming pools etc., or where the depth of water is unknown.
6. Use alkaline batteries only.
7. Use the transmitter included in this package only.
8. Do not let the batteries get wet. Ensure the transmitter is kept dry at all times.
9. Do not take the batteries apart, heat them up, or throw them into a fire.
10. Look after the environment: dispose of dead batteries responsibly and recycle
whenever possible.
11. Suitable only for ages 8 and up.
12. Adult supervision is recommended for children under 8 years of age. Children
should be made aware of the potential dangers associated with playing near
water.
13. The submarine and associated components are comprised of precise electronic
parts. Please handle with care, avoid dropping, sharp knocks or dismantling.
14. Never attempt to alter the length of the submarine's antenna.
1. Antenna & battery installation
Insert the antenna into its hole, located on the centre top of the transmitter. Gently
turn the antenna in a clockwise direction until it is tightened. Do not over tighten.
1. Remove the battery cover with a Phillips screwdriver.
2. Install 4 AAA Alkaline batteries into the battery compartment. Make sure that you
insert the batteries with the correct polarity.
3. Put the battery cover back, and tighten the screws. Do not over tighten.

2. How to charge
1. Open the waterproof switch cap located on the front side of submarine, as
illustrated in figure #1.
2. Once the switch cap is opened, it will cut the power and turn the submarine off.
When the switch cap is closed, the submarine will turn on.
3. The charging cable has two terminal ends. Insert the squared end into the socket
under the switch cap of the submarine as illustrated in figure #2. Important: ensure
that the pin on the square terminal end is inserted correctly into the socket on the
submarine.
Set the submarine down on a solid surface
● The LED will flash while the battery is charging. Once the battery is charged
completely, the LED will turn off.
● A complete charging cycle takes approximately 35 minutes.
4. Close the waterproof switch cap on the submarine completely

3. Preparation to operate the submarine
1. Extend the antenna completely.
2. Important: ensure that the waterproof switch cap on the submarine is closed.
3. Place the submarine gently onto the water (close the waterproof switch cap at the
socket on the submarine completely before putting into the water!)
4. Important: Hold the head of submarine and put the rear into the water, shake the
submarine quickly as pictured. Then release the submarine into the water
completely and let it float.
5. Follow the operating instructions for the submarine.
6. After use, please take the submarine out of the water. Shut off the submarine
power connection by opening the waterproof switch cap. Also, remove the
batteries from the transmitter.
Close the waterproof switch cap on the submarine completely before putting into the
water!

4. How to operate the submarine
Every submarine is programmed with a 'fail-safe' resurfacing function. This
auto-surfacing function will automatically ensure that your submarine will resurface if
its power becomes too low. Should this happen, the green light will stop flashing and
the submarine will surface. Pick up the submarine and recharge.

5. Suspending the submarine at a specific water depth
Certain skills and patience are required to suspend the submarine at a specific water
depth. The ballast tank is filled with either water or air. The mixture of water and air
inside the ballast tank is controlled by the two buttons located on the transmitter.

6. 360º rotations at specific depths
Once the submarine is submerged to a specific depth, if you push the turn right
button, and hold it there, the submarine will begin to rotate in a 360º turn to the right.
If you push the turn left button, and hold it there, the submarine will rotate to the left.

7. Straight line submerged navigation
Once the submarine is submerged to a specific depth, push the forward button on
the transmitter. The submarine will then move forward in a straight line. (If you push
the backward button, the submarine will move backward.)

It is not unusual for the submarine's operational time to be less than expected for the
first few charging cycles. To obtain full operating power from the li-poly battery, the
battery must go through 5-8 recharging cycles with full charge and discharge. After
the first few charges there should be an increase in its operating time.
If the submarine does not maneuver correctly, it may be due to external interference
from other radio sources, try moving to an alternative area and try again.
Alternatively, either the submarine, or the transmitter, may not have sufficient power.
Recharge the submarine and/or replace the batteries in the transmitter.
8. How to pour out the water in the submarine
If the submarine loses its balance during operation, this indicates that the submarine
is taking on water. You should take it out of the water, pull out the plug at the bottom
of submarine, and shake it.

9. Submarine failure
If the submarine cannot dive, take it out of the water. When putting it back in the
water, make sure the submarine is face down. Once in the water, the submarine will
automatically flip over and then can be used normally.

10. BATTERY SAFETY INFORMATION:

● Assembled by adult including battery installation.
● Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
● Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
● Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged.
● Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed.
● Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
● Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy.
● Supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
● Do not dispose of battery in fire. Battery may explode or leak as a result.
● Remove batteries from the toy before prolonged storage.
● Disposed of used batteries properly.
● Please retain this information for future reference.
