3 Place the food that way that:
• the food does not touch the inside of the appliance during cooking.

Using the roasting spit
Choose the size of the food that way that
• the food does not touch the inside of the appliance to ensure the rotation function
of the roasting spit.
• the food is not heavier than 1.2kg.
ATTENTION: Instead of the roasting spit, use the frying basket if the food is
heavier than 1.2 kg, so as not to damage the motor of the rotators.
How to use the roasting spit:
Make sure the roasting spit is not hot before use. When the roasting spit is
hot, wear oven gloves. Grip the roasting spit with a heat-resistant food-safe
kitchen utensil to prevent burns. Allow the roasting spit to cool on a heat-
resistant food grade surface before proceeding to the next step.
If necessary, clean the roasting spit spit as described under CLEANING AND
MAINTENANCE.
1 Loosen the screws on the roasting spit fixators.
2 Remove the fixators.
3 Remove paper, plastic wrap and foreign objects from the food.
4 Slide the food on the skewer.
5 Slide the fixators of the roasting spit back onto the spit, so that:
• the tines of the fixators grip firmly into the food.
• the grilled food can not fall of the spit while rotating.
• the food rotates with the roasting spit.
6 Tighten the screws.
7 Bind the parts of the food that open, enlarge or stick out during cooking (such as the
wings and legs of a grilled chicken) with kitchen yarn to the good ("dressing").
NOTE: Use oven-suitable kitchen yarn for dressing.
NOTE: Using a fine shish kebab skewer to puncture thick and fat food before cooking to
accelerating cooking and draining excess fat.
