SEL menu

The SEL menu is a simplified menu that can be called up by pressing the [SEL] button while an image is displayed.
The following items can be set with use of the SEL menu:
Image level [BRIGHTNESS]: Adjusts the brightness (the convergence level of ELC, gain (AUTO), electronic sensitivity
enhancement (AUTO) and binning (AUTO)).
Red level [R-GAIN]: Adjusts the red gain.
Blue level [B-GAIN]: Adjusts the blue gain.
Edge enhancement level [DTL-LEVEL]: Adjusts the edge enhancement level.
Electronic zoom factor [ZOOM]: Adjusts the zoom factor.
Detection area [AREA]: Adjusts the detection area of ELC, gain (AUTO), electronic sensitivity enhancement (AUTO) and bin-
ning (AUTO).
Image flip [FLIP+MIRROR]: Vertically (FLIP) or horizontally (MIRROR) flips an image.

How to display/operate the SEL menu

Step 1
Press the [SEL] button.
The SEL menu appears.
Step 2
Press the [SEL] button to call up the screen displaying the
item to be changed.
Note:
Pressing the [SEL] button calls up the items from the last displayed one while the power is turned on.
No operation for 3 seconds or more also closes the SEL menu.

Button assignment

Only pressing the [e] or [f] button allows users to assign the settings in the SEL menu while an image is displayed.

How to assign settings

Step 1
Call up the screen of the setting to be assigned in the SEL
menu to a button.
Step 2
Hold down the [SEL] and [FREEZE MENU ] buttons simul-
taneously while the screen is displayed until the displayed
contents disappear.
Note:
If "ZOOM" or "FLIP+MIRROR" is assigned to a button, the frozen image can be zoomed in or out or reversed (
29 and 30).
Step 3
Use the [e] or [f] button to adjust the setting.
Step 3
Use the [e] or [f] button to display and assign the settings
to be stored.
