DGEA−...
For installation in a vertical or sloping position:
Warning
If there is a power failure or the toothed belt breaks, the moving load will drop.
Uncontrolled moving masses can cause injury to people or damage to property
(squeezing).
· Make sure that the DGEA is driven only by motors with integrated spring−
loaded holding brake.
· Check whether external safety measures against damage due to a toothed−
belt break are also necessary (e.g. toothed latches or moving bolts). In this
way, you can prevent the work mass from sliding down.
These brakes are not suitable for braking masses in movement (they are subject to
wear). They hold masses at a standstill securely in position.
Mounting the proximity sensors:
·
Use a mounting kit (accessories).
·
Take care to include a stroke reserve in the cantilever arm length so that
emergency braking can be carried out between the programmed and
mechanical end position.
·
Mount the mounting kit in accordance with the operating instructions.
