This quick reference guide describes the main steps required to install and start
up the inverter. A detailed description of the installation process can be found on
the CD-ROM. Read the operating instructions on the CD-ROM before starting up
the inverter.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
The inverter may only be installed, operated, maintained and repaired by trained
and qualified staff.
The following risks exist:
Risk of death due to electrical shock and discharge
Always de-energise the unit during installation and before mainte-
nance and repairs and lock to prevent it being switched back on. Im-
portant! After disconnecting from power supply, wait five minutes for
the capacitors to discharge.
Danger due to electromagnetic fields!
People with pacemakers, metallic implants or hearing aids may expe-
rience complications. Such people should consult their doctor before
entering a site with inverters.
Risk of burns from hot parts
Allow unit to cool before any maintenance or repair work.
Risk of fire from hot housing sections
During operation, parts may heat to above 80°C. Do not store flam-
mable materials near the inverter. Always keep the ventilation ope-
nings clear.
