3 WORKING
3.1 Working commanded from the control unit
The device is activated/disactivated following the moves of the control unit (in case it should be connected like this in course of installation). While
activating all led pilots of zone will light up, for stating which zones are activated, and there will be an acoustic signal (BEEP-BEEP-BEEP) an "on"-
sign displayed : the system will be operating after 60" ("on" will disappear).
At disactivation there will be an acoustic signal (BEEP) and "- -" will be displayed for 60".
Signalling: further to activation/disactivation there might be acoustic signals stating func tions or irregularities: see par. 5.
Alarm: in case of alarm (see par. 4) the device will provoke alarm status of the control unit to which it is connected.
3.2 Enabling of the "MONITOR" function
The device may be activated/disactivated independently from the control unit to which it is connected, either by use of remote controls (PCK 3P –
PCK 4P) a/o numeric KEYPADS: in this case the matching detectors (perimetral a/o outdoor) may give local alarm for 3 minutes (siren or buzzer
connected to ALARM relay), useful for alerting persons present in the rooms through issuing of a pre-alarm against approach.
Total activation: either press the red botton on a remote control or enter the 4 digit code of a numeric KEYPAD followed by the red button.
Partial activation:
a)
with a remote control type 5023P or 5024P only A –and B zones will be immediately activated pressing the white button.
b)
with a numeric KEYPAD enter the 4 digit code, then keys A -B-C of the zones which are requested to be excluded: on the keypad the
respective leds will switch off . Then pressing the red button will confirm activation of the requested zones.
Disactivation: either press the green button on a remote control or enter the 4 digit code of a numeric KEYPAD followed by the green button.
4 ALARM
Each wireless detector which is incited sends an alarm signal: in case only R-Evolution should be activated, the device captures the same and may
activate local alarm (Monitor); in case the device should be activated combined with the control unit its electrical exits will generate alarm of the
control unit itself.
For each period of activation the device allows up to 3 cycles of repeated alarm for each detector up to a maximum of 8 cycles of alarm for each
active period, after which the device is blocked for assuring public quiet.
The detectors scheduled for functionning with "delayed entry" will originate alarm with a delay of 30", in order to allow access to the protected
rooms for possible manoevres on the keyboard: in this time-lapse the device issues repeated warning-BEEPS.
Each alarm is stored from the pilots of the respective channel and marked with subsequent BEEPS at the disactivation of the system.
A "disactivation"-command will block possible current alarms.
5 OPTICAL-ACOUSTICAL SIGNALLING - EVENTS MEMORY
R-Evolution stores the latest 50 events occurred to the system, i.e. each activation/disactivation, each alarm and each anomaly. These events can
be recalled and shown, starting from the most recent one back to the first one. Any event following the 50
one.
REMARK: for resetting the events memory it will be sufficient to enter Programming (par. 11).
READING OF THE EVENTS MEMORY
When the control unit is disarmed and the display turned off, it will be possible to read the events memory by pressing the green botton watching
the pilot section of the control unit; two dots on the display will flash and the latest event occurred will be shown, where the lighted up led states the
type of event related to the detector which number is displayed.
In case the event refers to the control unit itself "CC" is visualized. Pressing the green botton on the remote control again the penultimate event will
be shown, and like this up to the 50
SIGNALLING OF A NEW EVENT OR ANOMALY – beep series upon activation or disactivation
Each new event is memory-stored and notified at the first variation of modality (from "armed" to "disarmed" or vice versa) by a series of BEEP-tones
in addition to those normally emitted at activation/disactivation. The user must not
alarm which took place or an anomaly of the system. For this reason it is important to always cons ider the events memory.
NOTICE: After 60" without consultation, or by activating/disactivating the control unit, the reading events memory will be automatically interrupted.
