FORCED OPEN INSTALLATION (B22)
In this configuration, the boiler is linked to the Ø 80 fume discharge
duct through an adaptor Ø 60-80.
The fume discharge duct can be aimed in the most convenient
direction according to the installation requirements, within the
maximum lengths indicated in the table.
To install follow the instructions supplied wiht the kits.
The table shows the permitted linear lengths with and without the
fumes flange (A, fig. 11); to remove the flange, prise out with care
using a screwdriver.
In this case the combustion air is taken from the room used for
installation, which must be an adequate utility room with air
vents.
It is best to install a condensation collector and relevant piping
if the temperature in the boiler room is likely to fall below 0°C.
In this case tilt to a 1% angle in the condensation collector
direction.
Uninsulated fumes outlets are potential hazards.
CONCENTRIC OUTLETS (Ø 60-100)
Concentric outlets can be placed in the most suitable direction for
the requirements of the room, within the maximum lengths
indicated in the table. To install follow the instructions supplied
wiht the kits.
The table shows the permitted linear lengths with and without the
fumes flange (A, fig. 11).
For ducts which are shorter than the minimum length, the declared
efficiency rating cannot be guaranteed.
To remove the flange, prise out with care using a screwdriver.
TWIN OUTLETS (Ø 80)
Twin ducts can be placed in the most suitable direction for installation
requirements but special care must be taken as regards the temperature
of the installation site and the length of the fumes duct. The table shows
the permitted linear lengths with and without the fumes flange (A, fig. 11).
To remove the flange, prise it out with care using a screwdriver. To install,
follow the instructions supplied with the kit.
Refer to the graph which indicates, depending on the
temperature of the installation site and the length of the fumes
outlet, whether or not the condensate collector should be fitted.
In the event of installation with external discharge sections, to
calculate the maximum permitted length without condensate
collector, refer to the external temperature instead of that of
the installation site.
If the appliance works at temperatures lower than 50°C (e.g.:
installations with external probe) the maximum permitted
length without condensate collector must be decreased by
0.85 metres.
The condensate collector can only be applied to the fumes
outlet, at less than 0.85 m from the boiler; connect the
condensate collector trap to a waste water drain.
The fumes outlet duct must slope by 1% towards the
condensate collector.
If the length of the ducts differs from that indicated in the table,
the overall length must always be less than 40 metres (24
B.S.I.) - 29 metres (28 B.S.I.) and the maximum length of
each duct must not be greater than 25 metres (24 B.S.I.) -
20 metres (28 B.S.I.).
EXHAUSTION CONFIGURATIONS (fig. 12)
Boiler is homologated for the following exhaustion configurations:
B22
Suction in room and discharge outside.
C12
Concentric wall exhaustion. Pipes can separately start from boiler, but outlets must be concentric or close enough to be
subject to similar wind conditions (within 50 cm).
C22
Concentric exhaustion in common chimney (suction and exhaustion in the same chimney).
C32
Concentric roof exhaustion. Outlets like C12.
C42
Exhaustion and suction in common separate chimneys, but subject to similar wind conditions.
C52
Wall or roof separate exhaustion and suction in different pressure areas. Exhaustion and suction must never be located on
opposite walls.
C62
Exhaustion and suction with separately certified and sold pipes (1856/1).
C82
Single or common chimney exhaustion and wall suction.
