2. INSTALLATION
2.1 Installation of the appliance
The installation operations, possible change for use with other types of gas,
commissioning and elimination of any problems with the system must only be
performed by qualified personnel, in compliance with current legislation.
Gas systems and the premises where the apppliances are installed must respond to the
existing local regulations and, in particular, it must be kept in consideration that the air
needed for burner combustion is 2 m
/h for each kW of power installed and that the

injury prevention regulations must be observed.

As per international regulations, the unit must be connected upstream to a single pole
switch. This device must have a switch-contact gap of at least 3 mm.
2.2 Electrical connection
The machine is usually supplied with an electrical cable connected. If it was not
connected due to a special machine configuration, follow the specifications below:
The connection cable selected must have the following characteristics: it must be type
H05 RN F and it must be the proper size for the appliance.
2.3 Installing the appliance
Remove the packaging from the appliance and set it in the location where it is to be
used, using a spirit level and adjustable feet or other means.
Remove the protective film from the outer panels, pulling it off slowly to ensure that
no glue remains on the surface.
The walls adjacent to the appliance must be protected from the heat. Place refractory
sheets on the walls or place the equipment at least 200 mm away from the side or rear
walls that are not heat resistant.
2.4 Smoke exhaust
The devices must be installed in premises suitable for the discharge of the combustion
products and must be in compliance with the installation standards. The appliance is

not expected to be connected to an exhaust pipe for combustion products.
This appliance must be exhausted through hoods or similar devices connected to a
working flue or directly outside.
If not, an air suction device that is directly connected to the outside may be used and
its capacity must be no less than what is required. For this solution, specific equipment
is needed to measure the flow and cut off the gas if there is no flow.
