4. OPERATION WITH GAS SUPPLY IDENTICAL TO THE ONE AVAILABLE
Check if the indications on the data plate correspond to gas used. Also verify compliance
with the information given below.
4.1 Check the supply pressure
The supply pressure can be measured with a "U" gauge or
electronic-type gauge with minimum gradations of 0.1 mbar.
•
Unscrew screw "A" from tapping point "B".
•
Position the gauge.
•
Operate the unit and check that the pressure is compliant
with the data plate: otherwise, find out why it differs.
•
Replace and tighten the screw to seal the tapping point
4.2 Primary air regulation
The primary air is properly regulated if the flame stability is
ensured or, in other words, if there are no breaks in the flame
with the burner cold and if there is no backfiring with the
burner hot.
The distance required for regulating the primary air is shown in
the figure to the right and indicated in table B (pages. 52-53).
Unscrew the injector using a spanner and install the required
injector: check the exact air distance, "A".
