Supplementary information
If your application requires a different lens setting:
1. Unscrew and remove the protective tube from the lens. Make sure that the
sealing ring on the tube thread does not fall down.
Please note
Handle the camera lens with great care after removing the perotective tube.
S Avoid dirt. Work in a clean environment.
S Do not touch the glass of the lens.
Replacing the intermediate rings:
2. Unscrew the lens from the housing of the Checkbox.
3. Unscrew and remove the intermediate rings from the lens.
4. If necessary, screw other intermediate rings onto the lens (max. permitted lens
extension: 14 mm).
Setting the aperture and focus:
5. Loosen the fastening screws for the focal ring and the aperture.
6. Adapt the focal setting and, if necessary, the aperture setting.
7. Tighten the fastening screws again after the setting. In this way, the setting of
the lens will be maintained even in an environment subjected to vibration.
Please note
Protection class IP64 is only fulfilled if the protective tube is fitted corrrectly.
S Note that the protective tube can only be fitted if the lens is extended not
more than 14 mm.
S Make sure that the sealing ring is on the tube thread and that it sits correctly
in the groove.
S Tighten the protective tube.
