Ensure you have a module ready to install before opening the chassis
top cover.
•
Ensure you have a Phillips #1 screwdriver.
•
Ensure the Secure Router 2330 is powered off. You cannot hot swap
internal components.

Installing the Secure Router 2330 internal SCIM module

Use the procedure in this section to install an internal SCIM module.
Action
Remove the three screws securing the left-hand side mounting
bracket to the chassis and the top cover.
See the following figure for reference.
Remove the three screws securing the left-hand side of the top
cover to the chassis.
Remove the three screws securing the right-hand side bracket to
the chassis and the top cover.
Remove the three screws securing the right-hand side of the top
cover to the chassis.
Slowly slide the top cover back to take it off of the Secure Router
2330.
