Unpacking
• Carefully unpack and inspect your product. Fully familiarise yourself with
all features of the tool
• If any parts are damaged or missing, return to your retailer and have
them replaced
Assembly
WARNING: To prevent personal injury, ALWAYS disconnect the plug from
power source BEFORE assembling parts, making adjustments, or changing
blades.
Attaching saw table
• Fig 1: Remove the Table Aligning Screw (6) and wing nut from the edge
of the Work Table (15)
• Fig 1a: Remove the Spring-Loaded Hex Screw (B) from the shaft of the
Table Lock Handle (16) to release the Crank (A) from the table lock handle
• Slide the work table onto the Lower Blade Housing (8) by passing the
blade through the Blade Slot (E) in the work table. Make sure the Raised
Mounting Rib (D) on the side of the lower blade housing engages with the
recessed groove on the Trunnion Bracket (18) of the work table
To secure the table
• Slide the flat washer over the threaded end of the Crank (A). Insert
the threaded end of the crank through the curved slot on the trunnion
bracket and into the Threaded Hole (C-Fig 2) above the raised mounting
rib on the lower blade housing. Tighten the screw until the mounting rib
fully engages with the recessed groove on the trunnion bracket
• Engage the handle shaft with the crank and fasten with the Spring-
Loaded Hex Screw (B)
• The Table Lock Handle (16) engages when the crank is pulled back
towards the spring-loaded hex screw head to lock/unlock the Work
Table (15)
• Replace the Aligning Screw (6) and Wing Nut (see Fig 1)
• If necessary, adjust the Angle Guide (17) to reflect actual table tilt position
in degrees
Mounting bandsaw to work stand
WARNING: ALWAYS make sure your bandsaw is securely mounted to a
work bench or an approved work stand. Motor vibration, weight on the
work table and other factors may cause the bandsaw to tip over, slide or
walk along the work stand surface during operation. Failure to do so could
result in an accident, resulting in possible serious personal injury.
• The bandsaw must be securely fastened by the four base holes to a
work stand or workbench with heavy duty fasteners (not included). This
prevents the bandsaw from tipping over, sliding or walking/creeping
along the work stand/workbench surface during operation
Replacing the blade
• Unscrew the Upper (2) and Lower Cover Knobs (7) of the hinged housing
cover (see Fig 3)
• Loosen the Blade Guard Adjusting Knob (14) and position the Blade
Guard (3) half way above the table (see Fig 3a). Tighten the Blade Guard
Adjusting Knob (14)
• Loosen the two Blade Guard Mounting Screws (G) (Fig 3A) with a hex key
and remove the Blade Guard (3)
• Remove the Table Aligning Screw (6) from the work table
• Turn the Blade Tension Adjustment Knob (12) anti-clockwise to release
blade tension and remove the old blade
• Slide the old blade off the upper and lower Blade Wheels (F) and through
the table slot
• Guide the new blade through the Blade Slot (E) and on to the Blade
Wheels (F) so that the teeth are pointing toward the table slot and
downwards towards the work table (See Fig. 5)
• Centre the blade on the soft, non-slip surface of the upper and lower
Blade Wheels (F)
• Rotate the wheels clockwise to help guide and centre the blade on the
blade wheels
