Making a call with the receiver on-hook (handsfree)

Enter number.
Press the "Handsfree/Monitoring" function key (LED flashes).
When the desired party answers, you can hear them out loud and you can also talk
to them with the receiver on-hook.
Handsfree - ending the call
While you are telephoning handsfree with the receiver on the hook:
Press the "Handsfree/Monitoring" function key (LED goes out).
Entering text
T3 (IP) Comfort
Your telephone has its own keyboard with alpha keys. The keys are arranged in a
similar manner to a computer keyboard.
The default layout corresponds to the black or white letters printed on the keys.
• For upper case letters, the shift key (up arrow) must be held down.
• Special characters are shown in blue. For special characters, the ALT key must
be held down.
Country-specific special characteristics can be created as follows: First select
the special diacritic character shown in blue (e.g. an accent). Then enter the normal
letter for that key.
T3 (IP) Classic and T3 (IP) Compact
The digit keys can also be used to enter letters and characters, e.g. for names in the
individual directory. The letters are printed on the digit keys. Your telephone switches
automatically to entry of letters and numbers when this is necessary.
Deleting letters
Deletes the character above the marker. If the marker comes after the last
character, the last character is deleted.
Switching between upper case and lower case lettersPress
key to change between upper case and lower case letters.
Entering special characters
Not all possible symbols appear on the numeric keys. All the keys provide additional
characters to the ones printed on them.
